“Costa Rica welcomes the fourth Iberoamerican Convention of Economic Regulation”
BLP Abogados and the Iberoamerican Asociation of Regulation Studies (ASIER), inaugurated the 4th Iberoamerican Convention of Economic Regulation to exchange the experiences of v rious regulated and regulating entities, jurists and economists. BLP Abogados informed in a press release that among the main subjects the following topic areas will be present: telecommunications, energy, infrastructure, transportation, foreign direct investment and financial services.
This event seeks to go deep in matters related to certain regional phenomenoms, like the increase of the public and private alliances, the liberalization of the telecommunications market, the projects of renewable energy, the opening of the insurance market, the highway, portuary and airport concessions, as well as new techniques of financing the aqueducts and sewers.
“To go through this road that Costa Rica is just beginning, we need to extend our knowledge, and that is what ASIER and BLP Abogados are proposing to do through this Convention, with ideas generated on the ground, shared with total honesty and delivered to those that can make them useful, as a modest but encouraging contribution to the well being in general”, affirmed Luis Ortiz, President of the Convention.
