“BLP Abogados has represented ITS Infocomunicación in a private equity deal”
BLP Abogados has represented ITS Infocomunicación in a private equity deal in Costa Rica. ITS has initially received US$10 million from Aureos Capital Ltd., the British private equity firm, through its ALAF or latin american fund. The deal was structured as a debt and equity investment in this regional company, headquartered in San José, Costa Rica.
ITS is a regional player operating in the information technology sector, focusing on remote infrastructure management. Mauricio Salas from BLP Abogados stated “It was a privilege to participate in this interesting private equity deal. ITS is a perfect example of what the new Costa Rican exporter should be. Exports and growth through value-added services in the information technology sector, leveraging on its skilled local professionals and global partners”. The financing is expected to fuel this IT company’s burgeoning expansion in Latin America and the United States.
