“BLP Abogados led a very successful breakfast in conjunction with the Costa Rican Association of Human Resources"

On July 30th, an executive breakfast was held at the Intercontinental Hotel, led by BLP Abogados in conjunction with the Costa Rican Association of Human Resources.The Costa Rican Association of Human Resources (ACGRH) is a non profit organization that shapes human capital professionals and those working in that area.
The ACGRH encourages the interaction and transfer of knowledge and experiences among its members in the field, and provides updated mechanisms, training and professional development.
The participants where invited to this executive breakfast to have a discussion on Bill 17620: Law on the prevention and treatment against psychological harassment at work (mobbing). The speakers Randall González, Juan José Carreras and Mariana Fonseca updated and educated participants on the relevant aspects of the project, offering them opportunity of direct guidance on cases or particular experiences within their own organizations.
Many positive comments where received on behalf of the participants, and the event allowed them to have a clearer view on the considerations in case of approval of this Bill.
About the speakers:
Randall González has 19 years of expertise in Corporate Labor Law. Through all these years he has given counsel to the most well-known multinacional companies of the area. He has also leaded teams in Labor Due Diligence, Mergers and Acquisitions and in PMI (Post Merger Integration) processes. He also has broad experience in issues of expatriated personnel, regional labor counsel, labor relations, occupational health, labor audits and compensation and benefit plans. Mr. González has given more than 50 executive seminars in Corporate Law and has been an advisor to the International Labor Organization (ILO). He is an associate at BLP Abogados since 2003.
Juan Jose Carreras has worked as a lawyer and business advisor for more than 11 years specializing in Labor Law, labor relations and labor risk prevention for both national and multinational companies. He has a vast experience as a litigator before the Labor Courts, working primarily on ordinary claims, breach of the Labor Laws and Labor Risks. He is an associate at BLP Abogados since 2008.
