The 24th and 25th of november of 2009, the 4th Iberoamerican Economic Regulation Convention was organized by BLP Abogados and ASIER (Iberoamerican Association or Regulation Studies).
The president of Costa Rica in exercise throughout those dates, Franciso Antonio Pacheco, the Minister of Regulation and Competitivity, the Vice Minister of Telecommunications, the National Regulator and the Directors Board of the Superintendence of Telecommunications took part of this event.
More than 70 exponents from Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brasil, Venezuela, Perú, Guatemala and Costa Rica shared their knowledge about current subjects related to telecommunications, financial services, infrastructure, energy, transportation and foreign investment.
The convention was adjourned with the promise of the celebration of its 5th edition in the city of Lima, Perú, in 2010.
For BLP Abogados and ASIER, the success achieved with this Convention demonstrates that, the ideas generated in the field and shared with total honesty, and delivered to those who can make them useful, is the best contribution that can be given for the country’s general well being.
